Wonderful Writing - e, s, f, j, x, u, y, v, w, z

When we write we sit properly in our chairs with our two feet flat on the ground. We hold the crayon in our writing hand and we hold our other hand flat on the copy so it does not move when we are writing.

We learned to write the letter e.

You start close to the bottom line, go straight across and around like a c.

We learned to write the letter s.

You start in the middle, bring it back to the left, bring it forward and bring it back to sit on the line like a fat snake.

We learned to write the letter f.

You start just under the top line, bring it back over the hump, go straight down, down, down under the line a little bit and kick it back and cross it near the top.

We learned to write the letter j.

You start in the middle, go straight down, down, down, under the line a little bit and put a dot on top.

We learned to write the letter x.

You start in the middle and slant down forwards, go back to the top and slant down backwards.

We learned to write the letter u.

You start in the middle, go straight down, around and up and straight down to the line with a kick.

We learned to write the letter y.

You start in the middle, go straight down, around and up and straight down, down, down under the line and kick it back.

We learned to write the letter v.

You start in the middle, slant down to the line and slant up to the middle.

We learned to write the letter w.

You start in the middle, slant down to the line, slant up to the middle, slant down to the line and slant up to the middle.

We learned to write the letter z.

You start in the middle, straight line forward, slant back to the line and straight line forward.
